May17 Service Change

Posted: 23-May-2017

Hello Crew Rosters User.

We are writing you to inform that the CrewRosters is finally moving forward into a new delivery mechanism for your roster. The Java based program that can access your roster on the fly directly from the portal, to update/print off calendars has been in Alpha and then Beta for some time and has been reliably delivering data for many months now. As such we are moving to terminate the “legacy” service of the traditional once-off email based roster system in favour of this on-demand updatable product. The last rosters to be produced using the old system will be for July 2017, and the last time these files will be updated will be July 1st.

The Java based system install files can be downloaded from (Crewrosters.com > Downloads) and installed on your local Windows (XP/7/8/10) or Mac (10.8 Mountain Lion or greater) computer. Instructions for use can be found at (Crewrosters.com > Downloads > Documentation) and we have a forum for discussion and assistance up and running on CrewRosters.Com > Forum.

The Java based system continues to operate under the existing subscription service. We are continuing to distribute the 777 Study Document, which is an additional cost to existing CrewRosters subscribers.

We hope you are pleased with this long awaited upgrade to the CrewRosters service.
